Remember those old horror comics from the early 50's? Well the very BEST of them were the EC COMICS, originators of TALES FROM THE CRYPT, MAD, WEIRD SCIENCE and a ton of other titles ...ALL LEGENDARY. We were dedicated fans of those notorious comic books. To put it bluntly, it became a cult thing and we were bonifide EC FAN-atics! Eventually Jim came up with this idea of paying tribute to EC in some artistic and nostalgic manner.
